enterprise José Gomes da Rocha appeared in 1967 in the bosom of ones
family that,connected with the culture and the tradition of one region and
one country, has
been working more than 100 years this very noble natural product, the cork.
From that time and until nowadays the company keeps its familiar countenance which allow to add all technological development aquired, the experience and the knowledge through the generations.
From the beginning of the 80's the company launched on the foreigner market and its interest to devolop new technologies started from then.
During this decade the company expandes to new markets: Australia, France, United States of America, Spain, New Zealand, Italy and Germany among others.
With this expansion and with the transition to a new generation, the company has been trying to keep a close contact with the wine producers to understand and to satisfy better their necessities.
I t is based on supported progress and with a developed hard work during this decade that the company defines four vectors to forward to the new millenium:

2) The concerning about environmental problems;
3) Technological innovation;
